The Lake House
The Lake House is a contemporary transformation of a former rural property, designed to combine modern living, relaxation, and natural harmony. The main house is an upgrade of the original bungalow, reimagined with clean architectural lines, expansive glazing, and sustainable features such as solar panels to create a bright, energy-efficient family home.
An existing barn and workshop have been converted into a stylish guesthouse, complemented by a modern sauna pavilion and outdoor jacuzzi positioned next to the lake. Together, these elements form a private wellness retreat, seamlessly integrated into the landscape.
Clad in natural stone with contrasting render and dark standing seam roofs, the ensemble achieves a refined balance between rural character and contemporary design — a place where architecture, nature, and tranquillity coexist beautifully.
Mulberry Cottage
Mulberry Cottage is a refined replacement of the original cottage / bungalow, reimagined as a modern country residence that balances elegance, comfort, and wellness. The new home features traditional proportions with contemporary detailing — natural stone and brick facades paired with slate roofing and expansive glazing that opens the interiors to the surrounding gardens.
The design incorporates a detached double garage, a gym and studio wing, and a barbecue building overlooking an advanced self-cleaning, heated, and retractable swimming pool. Beyond the landscaped garden lies a tranquil pond with a feng shui-inspired tea and meditation pavilion, offering a serene space for reflection and balance.
